Words of Wisdom Of the Day # 227

The setting sun said : “who will take my work?”

The world heard this and yet remained responseless like a picture.

There was an earthen lamp. It said : “Lord! I will exert myself to my utmost”.

~ Rabindranath Tagore (Nobel Laureate in literature)

Words of Wisdom Of the Day # 225

Be humble, be harmless, Have no pretension,

Be upright, forbearing;

Serve your teacher in true obedience,

Keeping the mind and body clean,

Tranquil, steadfast, master of ego,

Standing apart from the things of senses,

Free from self;

Aware of the weakness in mortal nature.

~ Bhagavad Gita 13:7-8
