Famous Friendship Quotes

Famous Friendship Quotes

Famous Friendship Quotes

"A good friend is a connection to life - a tie to the past,
A road to the future, the key to sanity in a totally insane world".

~ Lois Wyse.

The best possession one may have is a true friend.

~ Unknown.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear.
It is just like the days.
An old day passes, a new day arrives.
The important thing is to make it meaningful:
a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day.

~ Dalai Lama.

"A friend accepts us as we are yet helps us to be what we should".

~ Unknown.

Dont miss the Beauty of the Day

Don't let yourself get so busy that you miss those little but important extras in life -

the beauty of a day....

the smile of a friend....

the serenity of a quiet moment alone.

For it is often life's smallest pleasures and gentlest joys that make the biggest and most lasting difference.

The real secret is surrender

Knowledge is learning something every day.

Wisdom is letting go of something every day. Zen Proverb * In the end these things matter most: How well did you love?

How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go? Gautama Buddha * Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values. The Dalai Lama XIV * Suffering is not holding you. You are holding suffering.

When you become good at the art of letting sufferings go,

then you'll come to realise how unnecessary

it was for you to drag those burdens around with you.

You'll see that no one else other than you was responsible.

The truth is that existence wants your life to become a festival. Osho * By letting it go it all gets done. The world is won by those who let it go. Lao Tzu * The real secret is surrender, letting go to what is...If we just let go and surrender we can attune to the flow back to higher levels of unity and oneness. Chris Bourne
